Keyboard in ipad

I have an hts9221 soundhub and use the remote app on ipad. I would expect the ipad keyboard to pop up once text needs to be entered e.g in searching youtube movies or creating url in nettv. It doesnt happen, the only thing i can do is the numeric keyboard in the same way as the numeric pad on the sandard remote. Any suggestions? Language settings on ipad and hts9221 are both english

If I want to fill in text on the youtube search, my iPad keyboard produces numbers instead of letters...
If I want to fill in text on the internet URL, most of the characters come nicely, but instead of b I get ä and I cant find c at all...
Besides typing words in the normal way is excruciating!

We're seeing the same issue as juba: using the keyboard functionality in Youtube renders numbers instead of letters. It appears as though the numbers correlate with the letter that is entered (e.g. pressing 'e' on the keyboard displays 222 and does so consistently).

Latest version of MyRemote used with a 42PFL7696H/12.

Being able to use a QWERTY keyboard is one of the biggest advantages of MyRemote, so I hope there is/will be a fix!

Edit: it is worth mentioning that using the keyboard isn't a problem when using the Internet browser application -- it works as expected there.

With the YouTube Leanback app you'll unfortunately need to use its on-screen keyboard for text entry.
