DS9000/12 stopped playing music and charging iPad

My DS9000/12 has stopped playing music through the ipad connector and also stopped charging the ipad. The music does still play when connecting using the 3.5mm jack. I've reset the ipad and also switched the dock on and off but no joy. Also tried an ipod and the same thing happens. The DS9000/12 is 2 years and 8 months old. Thanks.

    Hello Raylawr!

It is very nice to see you here on the forum and I hope to see more of you!

That is a sudden change! Have you possibly updated your devices to a newer iOs? If you have did this sudden change occur right after the update?

Looking forward to hearing from you!

    Regards,
    Philips - Katerina

Hi Katerina, thanks for getting back to me. We did upgrade to a new ios (8.4.1) but that was over a week ago and the DS9000 was still charging the iPad after then and still playing music. It then stopped charging the iPad and stopped playing music through the connector.

The DS9000 is a fantastic machine and we're lost without it.

    Kind regards

    Hi Katerina,

I tried this but it's stilll the same - I also unplugged the Ds9000/12 and plugged it in again and it's still the same.

Is there anything else you can suggest?

    Kind regards

    Hello!

Then I think it needs to be repaired. I don’t know where you live so I can’t give you a direct link to go to in order to get hold of my colleagues at the call center but if you go to the following page:
    http://www.philips.com/global/countr...Rlcg.html.html
and click on your country of residence, consumer and support then you will find all the info there.

    Regards
    Philips - Katerina
