Pirates of Caribbean 3d
Dear all,
I´m very happy with my BDP 7500 S2 so far. But........
Yesterday I watched the new Pirates of Caribbean 3d-Version and to be really honest, I was expecting a little more 3-d feeling. Combared to what I have seen in the cinema it was poor. Well, so I went to my neighbour who owns a Samsung BD Player with the same Sony LED Panel as mine and the 3-d effects have been far better. For instance the mermaid sequences came absolute impressive. Is there a further firmware update in progress?
Many thank´s for your answer!

thanks for sharing.
interesting piece of review for me. wanted to try the 3D feature... but honestly not yet invested enough for that (dont have a 3D TV at the moment)
just out of curiosity, are the bdp7500 & the samsung models of similar prices and are they both 2010 models?

Pirates of Caribbean
Hello kwinnie,
it is a samsung c6900. As far I know, the price level was/is similar to the 7500. And yes, both players have been bought in 2011. I think, latest 3d technologies have been used in pirates of caribbean 4 and perhaps the 7500 software has to bee updated to replay these 3d effects really perfect. Sometimes you realize even ghosting effects.... It would be fantastic if Philips could work on an appropriate solution.
