Cinema 58pfl9956 wrong aspect in menus
My new 21:9 tv seems to have got a wrong software or something in it. Looks like a 16:9 software. The Net-tv menues, the guide + more are all in 16:9 aspect. This does not look good on an expensive 21:9 tv. And it is a waste of space. You could have room for more icons/menu items on the same page if it was in the correct aspect ratio - 21:9. I hope you will fix this in a (the next) software.
this is the same as in the old 2010 Platinum model... you have to live with that...
Maybe this changes with the upcoming Smart TV GUI Update...
LOL. So it's was designed to look ugly from the start.
I hope you are right about the Smart TV GUI. It looks good on some pictures I have seen. Like this:
btw. what about the adjust menu ? (when you push the adjust button on the remote) Three giant icons on each page !! My neighbour could see it from 3 km away. Why not smaller icons and everything on one page. And now it is one giant icon you have to click on for only Ambilight on/off and one with Ambilight dynamic settingg. Why not a page with more Ambilight settings together. I question the sanity of some of the Philips designers. LOL.

I also hope that the new GUI-Update will bring a full screen home menu on my 2010 Platinum 21:9
prejudice have an idea regarding the various menu .. with a button instead of opening the page in full screen obscuring everything you do not do a bar below a certain size type PC with icons of the various functions so clearly visible through the icon opens like a curtain: you go on the setting opens the curtain Conle various items such perfect pixels, 200Hz and they are going to activate or going to or rgb color, etc. so it is open only to see the changes as they apply the changes. . What do you think?
