Sound Problem with Home theatre HTS5530
I have purchased Philips Home Theater model no HTS 5530
serial number kx1a1123498827 on dated 21 July 2011
Within 15 days i noticed that volume decreases n increases automatically.
I registered complaint and my product was taken by service center on 20th August 2011 and I have got replacement on about 15th September 2011.
Bt damn same prob wid new product. Philips center head is saying it a feature tht whn temp rises above 25 degrees, volume decreases
I am just wondering if this is a feature that when temp rises volume decreases, then how volume increases and temp cant go below 25 degrees within few seconds????
i m not getting any kind of reply from customer care even though i have mailed them and called them also
but its of no use
I hv wasted my money purchasing dis damn product.
today i got a mail from Sheeshpal Rana from Hitech Services, Philips Service center in Gurgaon (Haryana) from his unofficial id calling it a feature
Now i request all Philips persons to please sort out what the
real thing is all about
I am not at all satisfied with this PRODUCTLast edited by manishvermani; 09-30-2011 at 04:18 AM.

this is quite strange for me, never heard of this feature.
what stroke version you are using? heard there are some features for localization. for example some models in India is more dust resistant.
also which call centre you are referring to? do you have the ticket number/ track number that kind of thing... in that way philips side can track your "complaint" back...
to my personal experience, it's quite responsive from philips support. (both phone and live chat)... ad hoc incident maybe?

Stroke version?? what do u mean by that???
i can provide u model number and serial number only
serial number is "kx1a1123498827"
in india, philips consumer care numbers are 1860 180 1111; (0124) 4291111
i contacted them by phone and by mail also
today i got a mail in which they generated me a track number 99998219476167.
and got a mail from his unofficial id also
if they call it a feature, why its been told at the time of sale???
now i really dont need this series replaced.. i need some other series.
Dear All
This is one important feature in HTS55XX series which seems fault from customer aspects.
Issues can be observed: sound deceases after few seconds automatically on high volume & auto it goes up after few seconds.
So educate to customer that it is feature n important don’t declare it as fault.
More over how this technology works pls. see trailing mail.
Power De rating is the Technology incorporated in our new home theater models ,
The power de rating circuit will help to prolong the life time of the Power Amplifier IC
The above graph is for your information ,
The output of the Amplifier will be Maximum (High) when it is operated with the rated temperature (25*C – Global Standard) .
Whenever the temperature increases – Correspondingly output of the Amplifier also will be coming down .
[The output of the Amplifier is depends upon the temperature variations

unfortunate to see, so many views but no reply
such a shame.... can judge the customer support from that
After a long time i m being assisted
and now i m offered to get my product exchanged for any other upgraded product
but i came to know that HTS55XX series have same problem
and now only HTS55XX series in available in India
and moreover i will have to pay for new product............ is it fair enough????
