    poll for a chargeable firmware update ?

    hey folks,
    this is a poll to see, how many philips customers would pay for additional, enhanced functions in their hardware as
    other vendors do.
    i have read, philips will never update software functions in existing devices.
    this is not a poll from philips, but i hope they can read,

    Is shameful that if we want to update we have to buy a new tv every year. It's horrible to become obsolete in a year.
