    PCM on the digital output

    I have one question, does the digital out of these TVs (mine is a 37PFL7605H/12) output uncompressed PCM?
    I ask because I have an external dac and it doesn't lock to the digital signal from the TV.
    Seems like the TV converts internally to Dolby Digital to send to S/PDIF, which is stupid, as my digital cable box is set up to send PCM though HDMI and the TV should not do anything with it (like compressing what was previously compressed, then uncompressed - 2x lossy compression!).
