You can change the Level and Profile using a program called H.264 Leveleditor.
Just demux the mkv, change the level and profile and remux it. Make sure you disable the header compression when using mkvmerge, otherwise the movie will not be playable.

It seems that I didn't quite understand...I've used H264 LevelEditor and changed the level to 4.1 and it's the same am I missing something? I've just selected the file, choose level 4.1 and try to play it but failed...

so basically that means that only DD is supported right?

oh please Philips, fix that as soon as you can.

That would be the top for sure!

(also HD-MA being at it )

any chances to see an upgrade?

    Thanks in advance

The chances to see such an update, are fewer than winning lotto, while you are not a lotto player.

We (you know, the paying customers) are begging for this (and other simple things) fro 1,5 year now...

You wont see DTS support in Philips, they don't want to pay the license fee.
