Unable to update my TV
I placed the autorun.upg file into my thumbdrive, plugged into the TV but the update does not commence.

Hi,
if you put a MP3 file on that USB stick - can you play it?

Actually all I had to do was leave the thumbdrive, turn off the telly from the button behind and then switching it on again.

I had problems with that too, with my 32pfl9606H/12.
1) Switch off telly with the button behind the telly
2) put in a USB thumb drive with autorun.upg on it
3) Switch back on the telly with the button behind
Then the screens stays black and the ambylight leds are on, nothing happens then.
Then I switched off and back on the telly with the button behind and programming started visiable on screen.
But it also possible to update the firmware from within the TV GUI
Regards,
Dave
