HTS 9140 : I can't control volume from remote control while connecting via Coaxial

Hi,

I have one input from a media play via Coaxial but i can't control volume via remote control but it's ok from the body it self.
Is this problem with itself?

Please give your advice.

this is quite strange...
other buttons ok just the volume buttons are not working? it used to be in that way or it just happens after upgrade for example?

yes, it is.

I can only use Power on/off and Source change buttons.
none of others is able to use at all.

I upgraded the latest firmware but not sure whether it is caused or not

ummm so you bought it recently and once bought you upgraded it?

i m thinking if it is from day 1 like that... but sounds like the remote control prob... maybe have to replace the remote control .... still in warranty?

Finally, i called a service guy to fix my issue.
I had three issues,
1. could not recognize CD/DVD/BlueRay.
2. when it recognized, and it suddenly stopped while playing
3. remote control.

they came down and did something and now it's working fine.

ohhhhh so in singapore you have home repair service? envious of that.

do you know what did they do? just wonder... and maybe i can learn from that...
