Networking Tv and PC (XP home edition)

Hello, I have a TV 37PFL7605M/08, firmware: Q5553_0.140.40.0. (the last). I have some questions: What types of files are supported and what is a good free media server software to install on your PC or what type of network configuration you have set on your PC, as well as set shared folders on your home network? The operating system on my PC is Windows XP Home Edition, The TV is connected via LAN to the modem router. I tried Nero media server and sometimes the connection is interrupted. Regarding the many pictures jpeg files on my PC are considered unsupported. Thank you.

the tv itself is dlna compatible and can work with every dlna server, try to use twonky or tversity

Thanks again, a_tom: I tried TVersity works well. I later learned that even windows media player has DLNA server functionality. Now I'm using and performs well. Hello.
