Hi Andrea,

I successfully upgraded my DCM580/12 which is now firmware version MLC8805 - 10/26 V45
But, my iPhone 4 v 5.0.1 is still not recognized.
Is that a problem with new version OS 5.0.1 ?
Can you advise me please ?

Dear Clément,

I'm sorry to hear you are still having issues despite upgrading. There should not be an issue when running iOS 5.01 on your iPhone4 after upgrading your DCM580 software.

So, I would please suggest that you do a hard reset on your iPhone and make sure that there are no apps running in the background when docked.

The otherwise very clear instruction given at the below URL should explicitly say "copy only the extracted file, not the extracted folder"

Hi all

trying as everyone to update dcm580
I got the "No file" error.
tried extract with winrar, winzip 7zip
extracted in usb key fat 16 fat 32
with and without the folder
still the same error

any idea why the firmware is not recognized? file extension to be change?
any change to have a firmware version which works?
( i m on win7 by the way...)

or a troubleshouting somewhere?

Hi,
I'm also having issues upgrading the firmware. The dock shows "no file" when reading the USB drive. When I extract the contents of the zip file it shows as a .MCS file and not .exe Can someone advise where I am going wrong?

I think I need too this unzipped FW file for iOS5 iPhone. I have tried everything what other members have tried, new USB, Fat32, Fat, Win Vista, WIn 7, Chrome, Firefox, MAC, PC, always my DCM580/12 shows "no file"???
