    Hi,

maybe the problem is, that the Mac file system stores every time a hidden file call ".DSstore" on your drive or some other hidden files...

    Hi Everyone,

Glad I could help with getting this looked into!

If anyone is experiencing any issues when trying to download the firmware upgrade or can not see the zip file please send Philips - Andrea a private message and we will be happy to send the firmware directly to you.

    Kind regards,
    Cassandra

    Hi,

try to reboot your iPod and iPhone (hard reboot). Also try to unplug the power cord from your DCM580 for 2-3 minutes...

    Hi,

take a windows PC and delete those files :-)

Open a terminal in MacOS, go to the USB stick location and type: ls -la

Then you should see all files on your drive...

Nobody can help me? despite the updated firmware, v45 successfully installed on my DCM580 ipod and my iphone 3g on IOS5 still does not work. I disconnected the tower for 2 to 3 minutes, a hard reboot on the ipod and iphone but the problem remains unchanged. When I plug the ipod tower displays WAIT for 5 seconds and then nothing comes out or the sound of the ipod or the tour I just buzzing. The ipod loads properly on the media.

    Hi,

can you verify that version 45 is installed on the tower? Also try to unplug the tower from power for 2-3 minutes and restart (hard off restart) your iPhone...

If it does not work after that, please state you exact model. We need to gather more information what iPhones/iPods do not work after the successful installation of version 45.
