Clock on screen and Now and next program osd information when you change channel are present in 2009 tvs range but from 2010 both features was removed. If Philips wants, philips can. You just need to Philips wants as in other things.

    Hi,

Now/Next feature depends on some licences/certifications...

There are several reasons, some of them are related to the law and/or certificates. We are currently investigating if this can be enabled again in due time (no promisses ).
    See clarification 7: http://www.supportforum.philips.com/...mware-(TV550R1)

But in 2009 tvs range is present and 2010 and 2011 isn´t present. Why? The TVs in 2010 and 2011 should have the same rights as televisions, 2009. If Philips wants, Philips can.

    Hi,

if a patent was filled after 2009 but before 2010? Then you have your reason...

And why Philips has not paid the license?

No DVB-T EPG, no now/next, no DTS...

A lot of no for one brand...

What about the clock? The 9731 had one, shown by the yellow button (that now has help). This does not need a license...
