Just a question:
Do you work for Philips? Or why are you driving me nuts?
I told you, that the bugs are already posted. Not by me but by other users with same model and not only once. So why should i post them again? Just because of you? This is my last answer to your posts.
And again Philips: Fix the bugs or hire someone to do it or make it open source (best choice).
Good night!

If 14.91 firmware will bring a solution of a problem with "deenergizing" of TV it it is good for sure.
But!
Any improvement in the built in videoplayer isn't present? Philips in general notice, what they are written here by dissatisfied users?

My 40PFL6606H/12 finally functions properly after installing the Q5551_0.14.88.0 firmware. As long as my TV works as intended, I'll stuck to this FW

@petasis:
just READ the forums: the problems are very clear...
it's not about implementing features, it's about NORMAL OPERATION bugs: automatic shutdown after 2 hours, sound loss, metallic sound when changing inputs etc.
READ, or STFU.
