Hi,
please check, if your PIONEER also support ARC - both devices need to support that. Also be sure, you have the right HDMI port on your TV (not all ports support ARC). Also check, if ARC is activated in the TV setup.

Another user who is having problems with ARC, please Philips, get this fixed ASAP! It is not working with my 47PFL7605H and Yamaha RX-V671 either (both support ARC).

Hi yaniv gilad and Lassy.
I can understand the frustration both of you have with the ARC problem. To help you further i need a little more information.
1. have you got the latest software update on the tv? ( for 7605h it's version 140.047, and for 4606 it's 2.21).
2. are you sure you've put it on the right input/source on the yamaha/ Pioneer?
3. have you tried another HDMI cable and another device? and does this work?
please let me know so i can help you further with this problem.
Best regards

Yes, yes and yes (tried both HDMI 1.3 and 1.4)
I have not tested it with other devices (I don't have spare Yamaha receivers and Philips TV's laying around you know).
As more people are suffering from this problem with different makes of receivers I would assume that this is an error in the TV.
I have exactly followed the instructions for both devices to get ARC to work. It simply does not work!Last edited by Lassy; 05-16-2012 at 10:26 AM.
