    I had same problem with the go gear vibe vbe2 series the fullsound get turned off later of hear some tracks appear in submenu turned on but you notice is off by the sound difference and have to turn of for again and then turn on full sound for perceive the effects again and this problem wasn' t fixed in newer firmwares also the time that sent a mail to phillips headquarters saying the existence of those glitches said in a back answer that get touch with my local support center which is ridiculous since was communicating a bug in o.ne of it's products

    no, the issue is not solved and now that is not new firmware releases for the go ger vibe VBE2 just is a bad thing, also

    KW in sent the mail by a bug found with the model that when uploaded things there and later of the update process when startup the player gets stuck in 50% and have to restart again and as that happen again have to go to recovery with songbird also the pictures with a high size instead of the factory first firmware skip them or say file type not supported the player tries of show the pic and gets frozen and when did recovery the player firmware get damaged and the player unusable the customer center of Philips Chile gived me a new mp4 player since that the one that had could not be fixed.


    firmwre version is the 2.31

    well in general in home our experience ith the brand is good, that is why have choosed another mp4 player of the same brand but needs the brand improve some things with their products at first should be quality test which it seem are not performed in those cases.

    also is not possible that when i send a mail to Philips Headquarters saying that i discovered a bug in one of their products do not takes the mail of serious way and just reply me please get touch with your customer center in your country, if were a demmanding customer would never anymore purchased anything of philips brand anymore just by that answer by mail. in fact i taken that actions by a time till change of mind with the brand image or perception of the brand by the customers.


    well hope do not be taken for bad this but is a opinion of a customer , that in the past everything at home were Philips brand but later with the renewal of things we got to other brands and etc.

    Update:
    I was able to finally update to firmware 2.12 and was disappointed to see that the problem still exist (as previously described). It's a pity, because otherwise Fullsound sounds good, but this annoying bug ruins it and I have to use equalizer instead.

    i experience this also on my sa3vbe04kl/97 with fw 2.12 which came by default. luckily i found this thread so i just re encoded to cbr wma files. out of curiosity i repaired my device thru songbird 2.2, hoping that at least philips fixed the issue of the date not updating in the settings main menu display. but that issue also wasn't solved, and in addition, i found another issue with equalizer, that auto turns off when you return from the fm mode even if it says on the display that it is ON. I want to know if anyone here experiences the same. i wonder now if the problem existed before i repaired my vibe [sorry for the long post].

Or if it's more convenient for you, you could share it via Dropbox. If you're experiencing the fullsound problem while playing more than one file please send me only one of them. The reason for this is that we are currently working on resolving the issue and need the file to analyse it further.

    Dear Users,

    We have investigated into the issue and found that MP3 songs of low bit rate will turn off full sound function automatically to prevent playback interruption. You can check the mediainfo of the tracks. I still have not received any files from you and as soon as I do, we will be able to look into this case further.
