Problem with latest update for 32PFL7623D
Yesterday I installed via USB the latest update for our Philips Ambilight 7000 TV (32PFL7623D) using the procedure detailed on the TV it's self. The update is the one listed at http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/d...=Link_Software dated 2011-05-18. This is the first time we have tried to update so I guess the software on the TV is the factory standard. The update went through correctly but when it restarted the TV became inoperable - the remote does not work, and neither do the buttons on the side of the TV. It wont change channel (its stuck on bidTV!), or even turn off - I have to pull the plug! Has anyone else had this problem - at the moment Philips own update has rendered it useless!
Thanks.
