Philips 37PFL5405H/12 sound loss over HDMI (1) ARC

Philips 37PFL5405H/12 sound loss over HDMI (1) ARC.
    Connectivity:
    - satellite receiver HDMI 2
    - video recorder SCART
    - home theatre/DVD HDMI (1) ARC
I listen to the sound through the home theatre. The sound the satellite receiver and the sound of the video recorder are perfect. The DVD is perfect likewise.
    Firmware: Ver.: 000.140.039.000

As opposed to this the telly the sound of TV programs (all DVB-T) is left out continuously and this very disturbing, unpleasant.
What there may be the solution or we may be the reasons?
Incomprehensible the phenomenon, because HDMI ARC is all sound sign on the same one on a socket comes.

I have a 42PFL5405/12 and lost HDMI (1) ARC this week too.

I just upgraded my amp to a Denon AVR-1912, and the ARC worked for half a week. One day it was just dead. No sound, no matter what I do. I've tried resetting the tv settings, I've tried resetting the amp, unplugging the cables, switching cables... but still nothing. My current firmware is Q5521-0.140.39.0.

There is nothing I can do anymore. Some help would be welcome.

This HDMI (1) face mistake - my opinion - with a very big probability software mistake.
Why not in a faster case like this the correction?!

Philips HDMI prescribes a contact with 1.4 standards HDMI ARC to a socket. After there is a diverse name in the trade (for example: HDMI High Speed, HDMI High Speed with Ethernet, ...) which cable recommended by Philips?

Any high speed cable will do. Either with ethernet, or not (the TV does not support HDMI ethernet, but having such a cable is also compatible).

    Dear Csola48,

bring the TV back to the Philips Service Center and ask for a replacement and try to verify if the problem persist with the new Philips TV.

The lack of conformity (sound loss) was declared immediately after the purchase. In case you can ask for a lawyer (or a consumer association, cheaper than a lawyer) support in order to prepare the request.

    Regards
