42PFL9603 - using USB hard drive?
I would like to know if it is possible to use a USB hard drive to view films on the 42PFL9603?
Is the USB connection version 2.0?
Does the USB hard drive need to provide its own power or will the TV power it?
thank you in anticipation for your help

yes,
you can connect USB hard drive to the tv.
but not all formats are recognized, probably only mpg.
whether external power supply is needed, just try it.
I have harddisc which works directly on the tv.

Hi
this is possible.
The TV Supports USB Sticks with FAT32 and even Hard Drives if they have an external Power Supply.
For the Formats hansje is right, mpeg is supported.
