Hi,
did you take a look at the TV manual? ;-)
If the TV is in standby, press the ambilight button on the TV device.

I know.
I press the ambilight and the light turns on... after 5-10 seconds it turns off.
I have the newest firmware according to the TV (trying to update throught wi-fi dongle) - Q5551-0.10.105.0Last edited by B|G1; 11-05-2011 at 05:01 PM. Reason: Added firmware version

I pressed the ambilight button on the tv again, then it stayed on for 1 minute.
The third time is stayed on for 2 seconds.

Hi,
please update your firmware via USB stick. See support website for the latest firmware... For H and K models version 14.84 is the latest version which fixes this loungelight issue.

How long would you estimate it would take for a new firmware to be released?

Just heard from my local shop. They have updated to the newest software and the loungelight still don't work. They have tested it on several 7606 tv's, and the light turns off after 10 seconds.
Their opinion = This is how loungelight is supposed to work.
Isn't there a official statement from Philips that tells people the loungelight should be turned on longer than 10 seconds.
