    1.67 is the latest software for SMxxxxxxxxxx, 2.22 the latest software for GS1Bxxxxxxxxxx. Same model, different hardware revisions and software branches.

    System software version: 1.54
    No updates available.

    Problem: Frame jump every one or two second over the entire BLU-RAY film:
    Title: Immortals
    EAN: 5708758685023
    Purchased in Denmark.

    This is my first BLU-RAY film :-(
    Same problem on a handful of other BLU-RAY titles borrowed.
    All my DVDs are played nicely without any problems.

    Hope, there is help for this model as well. / Beck

    As for a lot of other people here, the disc loads and then freezes with a black screen. Power cord has to be pulled in order to restart. Very irritating.

    I see several firmware upgrades have recently been released to solve the audio and video problems when reproducing the "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2", not the same for the BDP-7500SL/12 and BDP-7500BL/12 (2009 models of 7500). When do you plan to release a similar upgrade for these models as well? Thank you.

    GAME OF THRONES - Season One Episodes 3-5
    EAN - Don't know because Love Film have a sticker over the middle.
    DEVICE - BDP3000
    FIRMWARE - 1142.1
    Problem: After inserting the discs - black screen. Device says "Play". Nothing happens. Have to hard reboot to restore any form of service and cycle happens again.

    I notice that this is quite a common problem. I can't believe Philips haven't been able to fix it yet. Slow, horrendous process to get help. Think I'll give up and play it through my laptop Blu-ray

    Having issues with: Hugo

    SW version installed on your device: 1.42 (downloaded this last night from your forums)
    Exact problem faced: it gets about 30 minuets in and the picture and sound start jumping. tried all sorts of troubleshooting but it still happens. It would appear it's missing our frames or not buffering properly.

    sometimes it just says "play" other times it says "HDCP ERR".

    all other DVD's and Blu Rays work without any problem.

    Disk Game Of Thrones

    Played disk one once (very slow to start but no other issues), now the player freezes with PLAY on the display and a black screen. No response from buttons on the player or the remote. Have to unplug to clear. Same problem with disk two. Did not try the others.

    When I try the software upgrade it tells me there is new software available, but offers the same version that is currently installed.

    I got that too. I wouldn't worry much about it. Just a simple glitch that could be easily corrected in the future versions.
