Hi,
I have the same issues as many other people here:
Model: BDP3100/12
SW Version: 1.42
Title: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 (special features disc)
EAN: 5051888085073
Problem: Error message: unknown disc
Title: The Lion King
EAN: 8717418335076
Problem: movie freezes almost every 10 seconds
We also have a problem with the Star Wars Blu-Ray (don’t have the EAN code right now): during the beginning, it constantly freezes.
I would love to see the extra's from Harry Potter, so an upgrade would be welcome
I noticed there were some firmware upgrades for other models, fixing the Harry Potter problem. Has anyone got an idea when it will be available for the BDP3100 series? I just upgraded my firmware, but the problems were still there.
Thanks in advance!
Astrid

Bdp2600/05
Player: BDP2600/05
SW Version: 2.14 (no update available)
Disk: Fright Night
EAN: 8717418323967
The disk starts to load -
• if USB key is present, the Touchstone logo appears for a moment and then goes blank
• if there is no USB, the "BD live - insert usb" message appears at stays on screen.
In both cases, the player becomes unresponsive and must be disconnected to restart it.

BDP 5200/79
Software: v1.55
Blu-ray: Game of Thrones (Complete First Season)
EAN: 9325336130858
Issue:
When changing discs, the new disc inserted will not load and play correctly.
Results in a black screen with no sound or images
Restarting the player will usually fix this, sometimes the remote becomes non-response and the power button on the front of the player needs to be pressed
Have also had two other issues occur with the same EAN, when initially powering up the player, sometimes the disc fails to load and the player needs to be reset.
When the player is resuming from power saving mode (after leaving the player idle for a while) sometimes the player will not resume and needs to be re-powered.

Hi,
Blu ray disc: the "Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer" a Dutch/France release (20th Century Fox)
EAN 8712626036623
Model Number: BDP7600/12
Firmware V1.55
The problem I found is the following: most of the supplements are not visible or selectable. I can only see/select from the extras the two audio commentaries. But none of the others like The Making of 'Fantastic Four etc. etc is visible. This problem is present under firmware V1.42 and 1.55.
Regards,
Robert

Hey. Not sure if you can call it not playing back, but here we go:
Films: Million Dollar Baby (EAN: 5704028215822) and Midnight Express (EAN: 5051162291176)
Model Number of my device: BDP2850/12
Firmware V1.74
Problem: The player seems to be skipping a few frames now and then. If I then try and rewind and repeat the same part of the particular movie, it doesn't skip it. It does not occur if a scene mainly consists of conversations and no real motion.Last edited by anyvang; 09-08-2012 at 09:01 PM.

I noticed that about every BD I play now has a 'stutter' (didnt notice it before, maybe it wasn't there). I'd like to try to upgrade the firmware (model is BDP 3200/12), but my question was: does the DVD region unlock code still work if I upgrade the firmware?

What about the movie Avatar (EAN 8712626081081) in combination with the BDP8000 (and BDP9600) player.
Loading takes up to 10 minutes and more. Quick fix is to disable internet acces over WIFI. Problem is acknowledged since september 2011.
Still no SW update that deals with this problem.
