Hi maumau,
have you tried to start the movie by selecting the first chapter instead of starting the
movie out of the menu? This was my workaround but don't ask me why it worked ...

Dear SimonS,
For the "unkwown disc" error, this may be cuased by loader issue. This has to be checked by the service centre. Please make sure that once your device will go there that you include the disc that gives this error message.
Please contact your local centre for any further assistence www.philips.com/contact
Kind regards,Forum Mod

After some restarts, "Game of Thrones" appears to be working now. It takes a while, but it works.
Cannot reproduce what happened before.

Title Blu-ray disc: Four Lions
EAN: 4042564131581
3
Title Blu-ray disc: Slumdog Millionär
EAN: 4260170490148
They are all German blu-rays.
Device: BDP5180/12
SW version: 1.50
The drive makes strange noises for some seconds and then the player says "Unbek. Disc" (=unknown disc).
PS: The blu-ray drive in my PC plays the discs without problem.
