When switching on TV does not recognize used input
Hi,
I've got a Cineos TV model no. 32PW9551 and a digital HD satellite receiver type DSR5020. I'm used to switch on and off all my TV equipment via a switchable power strip, to economise the power consumption. With my old receivers Kathrein and also CGV the TV always switched automatically to the right input (SCART/EXT1) when switching on with the power strip. With my new receiver Philips DSR5020 I'm using the HDMI connection, but the TV doesn't switch to this input when switching on with the power strip. Using the SCART connection instead doesn't work as wanted either. So I guess there is a signal from the receiver missing, telling the TV to use the corresponding input. Is this a defect, firmware bug or do I miss something to set in the menus?
THX
Regards,
Stefan

Hi
Sorry but this TV is not Supported in here, only the Flats are.
In general: via Scart you have a Control Pin (8). By putting Voltage to that Pin, the TV recognizes that there is something and switches to that Input.
For HDMI that is different, here all is handled via Ports and Protocals.
However even if that TV has an HDMI input, it does not support thoe Protocols like CEC.
