Philips Streamium NP2500/NP2900 wishlist

Dear Philips,

I have a couple of items in my Wishlist for my Philips Streamium players.
I own a NP2500 and a NP2900 player.

Gap-less playback
All Mixed Albums with tags for each song will create a rather large gap in playback. This is very annoying! The beauty of the music is destroyed!
Probably for each song the player must learn about bitrates etc before it start playing. The player should buffer the data ahead to overcome these gaps when setting up the next song for playback.

Display Font
I like a change in the display font.
The font color is now White. If you have i.e. album art on the display which has a lot of light (white) colors, the text of the MP3 tags are very bad to read.
It should be great to have a font which has white letters with a dark grey edge around it. This will make the text much more readable.

Display text
Many of the MP3 tags or album names are larger than the screen wide.
When a tag text is shown, it is first shown steady and then it starts moving over the screen.

* The time it stays steady is to long
* The scroll speed is to slow.

General: It takes to long to wait, for the whole text to roll by!

I like to add a new feature request to the NP series (NP2500/2900).


Auto Scroll function
It should be great if there is an auto scroll function with the remote controll.
Now, if I browse through a selection of albums, I have to click many times to go through the list till the required selection.
If I only could press and hold the up or down arrow button on the remote control to scroll through the list would be much more convenient and keeps the remote control in better shape for a longer time.
