Picture stutter on BDP 2850 & BDP 3200

Bought yet another Philips blu-ray player, the BDP 3200/12 after discovering small picture stutter problems with certain blu-ray discs (see below) on my previous BDP 2850/12, but to my surprise, my new BDP 3200/12 suffers from exactly the same problem...with the same discs.

Disc 1 is the WALKING DEAD with ean number 5-704028233390
Disc 2 is a danish movie VED VERDENS ENDE with the ean number 5-708758683050

Sound is fine, and the choppy playback is not that apparent.....more like watching content streamed from the internet.

Tried every possible format and picture setting, but nothing helps. Discs playback fine on another Samsung player, and both the BDP2850 and the BDP 3200 generally delivers a fine picture from other discs.

Any ideas or firmware on the way ?

    Regards
    Kondrup

Yes....something i definitely wrong here, and it applies to several models of players.

A comment from anybody from Philips?

    Hi Kondrup,

Check this thread that explains a bit the procedure that Philips has for these kind of cases http://www.supportforum.philips.com/...-playing-back&

    Thanks, Oscar.

I've just put in the details on that tread.
Wonder if and when anyone from Philips will respond :-)
