Anyone has the .25 firmware still on his pc? Would be great if someone could upload the firmware before the december one or .25 one. The .44 drives me crazy! How is it possible that the sound is fucked up like that.

If installing version 25, what features or updates do you lose over the newer versions. Is it worth it for the better picture?

Someone please upload the last firemware (August). This incompetence by Philips sickens me. The newest one is the worst I had so far. Unbearable sound issues.

I have just installed version 34 as 25 would not install. The 2D picture does look sharper now and colours have more saturation, blacks appear to have more depth too.
When I installed version 44 I thought the picture seemed more grainy and pixellated than version 40. 34 is fine, I wil stick with it until I hear good reports about 45.
I work as a broadcast engineer so am used to watching very high quality pictures on professional monitors. This was main reason why I bought the 9705. The software versions are irritating though. Can philips just not get it right, they have a great tv here that is losing a good reputation!
