Sun reveals stripes and smudge

Hi,

As the sun sets lower we've noticed some strange patterns on our TV in the evening. (52pfl8605k)

As the sun goes down, there's a reflection from a window across the road which makes 3 vertical stripes show up, plus an irregular 10x10cm smudge. It is not on the outside of the glass screen, but seems to be inside the panel somehow.

It is worsening and is starting to interfere with the viewing. Has anyone experienced this or has a pointer how I can get rid of this?

Hi,

many users of the 2010 8000 series noticed that... The only thing you can do is to call local service for "clean" repair - at least this is what the other user did...
