viewing mobile phone photos on philips 5000 series tv

Hi all.

Just got new philips 50000 series 40" tv. Is it possible to view video/ photos i have taken on samsung galaxy phone on this tv. Similar to way u can view digital camera photis on tv. I have cable with camera that connects to tv's usb connection but it says usb is empty wheni try to view. Is their different cable that would work or is it just not possible to view on tv direct from phone.

Hi

To be able to help you you have to add the Exact Model No and the current FW Status!.
However, on most Digital Cameras you have to set the Camera itself to "HDD" Mode.

Hi,
yes it is possible. You need a so called MHL adapter cable which allows you to convert via micro USB of the phone to HDMI on the TV. http://www.amazon.com/Adapter-TV-Out...2148554&sr=8-5

You´ve gotta check if this adapter works with your Samsung smartphone!

Thanks dershortyy & thomas. That mhl adapter is for galaxy s2. Unfortunately i have galaxy s1. Will keep looking though. Thanks

I also used Samsung Galaxy to take picture and videos and it is totally great for me to used it, I also use to connect it to my television to emphasized more with my videos.
