42PFL7606h supports dual view gaming?
Philips or others :
Does the Philips 42PFL7606H 3D LED TV support dual view gaming with PTA436 glasses?
I almost bought this from Pixmania today, but I want to be sure that it supports dual view gaming :
http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/1022...d-televis.html
I've been told that the model 42PFL7606H/12 supports this, but after 2 hours of searching the net I've not been able to find a manual for the 42PFL7606H or a comparision between the 42PFL7606H and the 42PFL7606H/12.

I downloaded and read the manual for the 42PFL7606 H/12.
I did not find anything about dual view gaming.

Hi,
really strange that there is nothing written.
However, the necessary 3D glasses for dual view gaming are the PTA436. If you take a look at the Product Spreat Sheet of the PTA436, the whole xxPFL76x6 series is supported.
Maybe other readers can confirm...

it's working
I've tried (42pfl7606 frmw 0.147600) it it's look ok.
Source is a video of a game witch are coming from a tv channel.
I've used standard glasses (include with the tv) and tried to close left the right eye and show different movie.
I think you just have too order glasses or make yout own by switching lens ...

I've been the owner of a 42pfl7606 for 2 weeks now, works just fine with dual view gaming and 3d gaming on my xbox 360.
The picture gets a bit stretched in dual view gaming because the game showing on half the screen is stretched to full screen, but fun to switch glasses and see a different screen, and a great way to puzzle friends (I bought the dual view glasses for about 25USD for two pairs.
