PFL4606 ccfl problem
Hi everybody, I've just bought a new 37PFL4606h tv and I'm happy with it (considered to the price), but I've seen a problem with the backlighting of the black.
The left half part of the screen is good, the right-down one is more illuminated.
Seems that the right-down CCFL lamp be more bright than the left
This problem is visible with a full black screen (like setting HDMI input but without any device that pass video-signal) or also with the black 'bands' of a 2:85:1 movie. In a full screen colored image it's impossible to see the difference.
I know that this is a cheap CCFL tv and not a LED micro-dimming screen but it's really annoying and it isn't normal (my PC monitor is CCFL but doesn't have this problem, my other plasma tv is CCFL but doesn't have this problem...).
If I bring the TV to my local philips services point, they are able to fix this problem in warranty? Or I must return my new tv and buy another tv like panasonic U30E?
