PC Software (DLNA server) where to download from?
Where can I find the PC software (the Twonky customized server) to download from the Philips site?
There is nothing in the software / drivers for the NP3900.
I guess it is the same as the one we use for the NP2900 and others? just checking.

Hi k1200rs,
We don't currently provide a specific DLNA media server for download for the NP3900. However you will not need a specific media server, most DLNA media servers will be compatible.
Twonky media is supported as you mention so if you have this currently for the NP2900 then you will be able to use it for the NP3900 also.
You could also use Windows Media Player (WMP) 11 or higher, this is installed as standard on most Windows PCs.
Kind regards,
Gary

Thanks, I know all that, I personally bought the full version of Twonky manager.
This was in fact not for me but to answer a user on a French forum who got difficulties installing the server that's on the CD, it might be because the CD is unreadable. Anyway, as said Kwinnie, I guess the server that is referenced in the NP2900 support pages is the last version and compatible with the NP3900.

Hi k1200rs,
The media server on our website for the NP2900 is the Philips Media Browser v1.1.1.12. This is indeed the last version of the Philips Media Browser to be released.
As it is powered by Twonky Media it should work with the NP3900 as well, if any issues are experienced Windows Media Player 11 or Twonky Media itself would be good alternatives.
Kind regards,
Gary
