analogue out better than hdmi for sound ?

If this has been discussed before I apologise. new here.

I've had the bdp9500 for a while and I've always been impressed by its sound.
Recently I also connected it to my amp via the analogue connections. I have the impression the bdp sounds even better.

The only problem I encountered was that the setting for the distance of the speakers is fairly rough.

Is it just an idea or does it sound better through analogue out ?

Blu-ray players with onboard decoding can also output soundtracks at their full resolution over multichannel analog outputs, ifthe player has such outputs.

But does this player have onboard decoding, I whould say so. Do you have it connected to an amplifier

yes, this player decodes HD Master, ...

I have a very good amplifier, but I prefer the sound when connected via the analogue output instead of HDMI
