MCi8080 Updating Library 99%

Hi,

When I copy music onto the hard disk of the MCi8080 it doesen't seem to update the library. When I switch the unit off and switch it back on it says Updating Library and then sits at 99% for about 3 hours, after which the music is available.

My music collection isn't particually large (maybe a 1000 songs), but every time I put new music on the HDD it takes hours before its available. Im buying music once or twice a week so this is a real problem having this downtime.

Any ideas why it takes so long? On my desktop computer it takes around 1 minute to re-catalogue all my music in Rythmbox.

Hi tlucas,

I did not see this problem on my set but don´t use the hard disc either that much for music ( have more movies on it ).

I would format first the HDD and then do the complete first instalation of the HDD as described in the manual. SO first connection, setting up etc.
