Can not change setting in menu
Dear Support
I have a problem with the 42" 7676
I have installed the newest Firmware: 14.84
And the problem is: TV shut down without my action, every 2 hours. I have contacted the helpdesk in Holland and they told me to switch off the automatic channelupdate in the menu. But on my TV it is grey and i can not shut it off. I have another TV 32” 7675 and also on this TV i can not shut off the automatic channelupdate.
Do you have a solution?
Greetings,
Christ

It might be a known problem, but it is not an acceptable problem.
In my opinion Philips needs to solve this in the next sw (also for 2010 models!).
Does anyone have any information when there will be a new release?

Hi,
they are working for a fix for the 2011 devices.
But I never heard that this occured on a 2010 TV. What firmware are you running on the 7675?

@ Toengel (and maybe it is interesting info for Philips too)
My TV is a November 2010 model 32PFL7605.
This 'reset on channel update' problem is occurring since a new mainboard was installed in oktober 2011, so it might also be related to newer (2011) hardware. I am running firmware 140.040
Before the mainboard replacement, I have been using 140.40 for about a month without this problem (so with the original hardware configuration).
The mainboard was installed after my NetTV and IP-EPG was not working anymore.
Kind regards,
Niels

check via green button if automatic switch off feature is available.
if green symbol is preent then the function is enabled.
when the RC is not used for 2 hours the tv will think that nobody is present anymore.
this socalled green feature and the tv will switch to standby for saving energy.
just check this function or use the remote control sometimes (txt, volume, zapping,..)
