Dear Philips,
on 5th of November you edited one post of yours to affirm that on 7000 series JointSpace is not available yet. In this last post you say that it should work, so what is the truth? I have a 37PFL7605 with the latest FW (140.023)
Thanks!

Yes, it does!
Now Jointspace is enabled on my TV too.
Thank you very much for your support.
Ciao!

A new version (1.2) of the iPhone app is released, with main improvements being:
- Added compatibility from iOS 3.0 onwards
- Added cursor under the keyboard so browsing Net TV is even easier.
Use this app on your Apple product for controlling your TV and even as keyboard for Net TV!.
Note: jointSPACE must be enable on your TV (see elsewhere in this forum).Forum Mod

Thanks! And; HEY, today my tv was automatically updated AND after entering the jointSPACE-code, the iphone-remote app works!!! Great, BUT, when will Apples AIRplay work?
I have also tried various mediaserver-apps, many connect, but they all freeze after displaying one or two photos streamed from my iPhone4

Thanks for the jointspace support plus app! I loaded the app to my iPad and it worked immediately. While testing the app I identified some features to be improved/added:
- allow for customizeable sets of buttons, each set of buttons to be individually placed like the icons on the iPad desktop. This would help to use a single interface for one peripheral ( e.g. one for a hts, one for a DVD player, one for a camera) or nettv or tv
- support easylink through jointspace

Hello all!
Jointspace looks great but it forum on sourcefoge is not very active... Probably here cab i find answers.
I think that jointspace can be enchanced by creating a computer application that decodes IPTV and shows content on TV screen. I found such decode programs on sourceforge.
There is probably a performance issues while showing streaming video from LAN. Can anybody confirm this? Is this idea realizable at all?
Anoter idea is instantly showing video from IP-camera where there was motion detected (this already is implemented in most cameras).
Are these ideas interesting for Philips?

Hi,
I like to try out jointspace, but I am a simple consumer. How must I install these JointSpace applications once I downloaded them.
The fisrt download link in the list gives a zip file, the second a screen with unprintable characters.
I can unzip them, but then it stops. Should I first download the SDK ?
Thanks
Jan

To use jointspace your TV must support them. Check your firmware release notes about support. Also it must be activated via remote control (you should press digit buttons to get the word "jointspace" (a-la mobile phone with T9). If you press the buttons in correct order you should see joinspace logo on TV screen for the short time. Then you can use it via LAN.
After you run a program from extracted zip file you should immediately see it's activity and can play with them.
Any special installing nor SDK downloading is not required, just run extracted program.Last edited by avia; 12-17-2010 at 06:23 PM.

Hi Avia,
Thanks for your answer. The TV part I understood.
My question was about the pc side. What/How to install these apps ?
I downloaded & extracted the zip files, but cannot find any exec/bat/'... in them.
I tried Plugitt & tvremote.
So, how to install these ? First download the SDK ?
