Hi, I have visited http://jointspace.sourceforge.net/download.html
and saw number of *.7z files but they are not executable..

so I think I have to compile it some how. Do you have any idea how to manage that. I am not an expert in program developing so would it be easy enough to compile for an avarage person to use this ready programs?

*.7z ar 7-Zip files. That means that they are compressed with the program 7-Zip...

I can not find the jointspace programme on net tv , can someone tell me where it is please ?

I have a 40PFL7605H /12 tv and have done all the latest updates did not work, also went to jointspace and tried that update

Hi,

you need to activate jointSpace on your TV: Switch to a TV channel und type "jointspace" with the numberkeys as fast as possible on your remote. For 1-2 seconds a popup appear displaying "jointspace enabled".

thank you for the quick reply, but i tried what you said and nothing happens expect the channel numbers come up on the screen.

i go to watch tv , choose channel 1 , and thne try and type in jointspace, with the remote control

where am i going wrong ?

Hi,

you should install the latest firmware from the Philips websites before trying...

AFTER upgrading to the new firmware, jointSPACE NEEDS TO BE ACTIVATED by entering the following digits sequence while watching TV (WatchTV activity): "5646877223"

I successfully tested jointSPACE samples under MS Windows 7 with my 32PFL7605H/12.

Unfortunately most of the jointSPACE samples give various errors when compiled under GNU/Linux. Probable it's because of lacking of some necessary libraries?
I even started a topic in the jointSPACE forum at sourceforge.net about Linux, but nobody replied yet. :-(

isn't that already implemented? Did you try to activate jointspace? Which firmware is installed on your TV?

I also thought it was, but apparently not for the model I own. The software update that I did today is PHL-OBA_520_0.
