    USB cable for az2555

    Hi

I was wondering what usb cable would be best to use for the az2555 speaker to connect it to my pc. I believe that it originally came with one but that was a long time ago and the cable is long gone.

    Thanks

    Hi TomAplin,

Your AZ2555 has a USB 1.1 connection for the PC Link feature.

So, as most devices now come equipped with a USB 2.0 connection, you will need to use a USB 1.1 to USB 2.0 cable to enjoy your PC Link playback.

If you need anymore information, here is a link to the user manual: http://download.p4c.philips.com/files/a/az2555_05/az2555_05_dfu_eng.pdf

    I
hope this information helps, if you need anything else please let me know.

    Kind regards,
    Andrea

Thanks for the information, it really helped.

But is there any way that i can download the software that originally came with the product so that i am able to connect it to my PC, as i have lost the disc also.

There was a link within the manual but it didn't seem to work.

    Thanks again

    Hi TomAplin,

The CD content is downloadable from our website also (not sure where you are located but you can change language from English if needs be):

    http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpindex.pl?scy=GB&slg=ENG&sct=CD_SOUND_MACHINES_SU &cat=AUDIO_PRODUCTS_CA&session=20111213065044_85.9 0.232.145&grp=SOUND_AND_VISION_GR&ctn=AZ2555/05&mid=Link_Software&hlt=Link_Software

Let me know if you have any problems unzipping the file etc and I can help you out.

    Kindest regards,
    Andrea
