Greetings, I am new, and this is my first post.
I am from FYR Macedonia
Want to ask few things about Philips 42PFL8007H mine
1. Is the 200hz motion rate native for 1920 resolution
Or 200 applies for lower resolutions ?
2. Can I use wireles keyboard and mouse for writing and internet (how to do it)
3. Can I use skype for video calls (how) and Can I check Hotmail mail?
4. This is most important for me.
What wolud be the best way to write and edit big txt documents on Philips and than save it. Only simple texts.
Or can I write text and save it on usb stick, and later open in on PC in MS Word ?
I want to write with Cirilic Support (is it possible)
I would be VERY HAPPY if it is possible to use only my TV and Keyboad, for writing txt, without use of PC
And later I would open it in MS Word in my PC and print it
Thank you
If you have already discussed this, pls send me linkLast edited by Goran Kondak; 10-01-2012 at 10:38 AM.

This doesn't belong in this thread but..
The 200hz motion rate is a simulation of 200hz, the actual hz should be at 50 or 60, the tv creates more images to simulate the higher refresh rates, this can make the image look choppy, it works great on some tv's after some optimizing but most people just turn it off.
Don't know about 2, 3 & 4, google might be helpful!

Hi,
don't know, if you understand me correctly. You can add them, but I'm sure many of them won't work in other countries...

Not all of the apps in Belgium are available. I'll have the latest software installed. Normally there are 68 apps in Belgium i have just 32 apps.

i cant find cartoon network on new bdp 5500/12
I just bought a new bdp 5500/12 in the Netherlands to see 'rtl xl', 'gemist' and cartoon network. and i immediately did an update on the player as soon as i opened it.
but when i went to Smart tv option after updating to the newest firware i didn't see Cartoon Network. I just saw your file with all the services /country and it says that i am able to watch cartoon network app, but i cant find it. . But why don't i have cartoon network? what can i do to/download to get it?

Most of the interesting apps that are announced for France are in fact not available : Deezer (!!), but also INA, Les Echos, Le Figaro and so on.
Facebook is there but impossible to use : no pictures, no text, just ununderstandable codes.
I am very upset with Philips and regret that I trusted them.Last edited by Arpege900; 12-30-2012 at 05:52 AM.

hi !i'm radu and i wanna say say that i'm extremely dissapointed that philips put as a "smart tv app" in my philips pfl 3517 2 days old only YOUTUBE!ITS OUTRAGEOUS THAT YOU let that firmware since august 2012 and that you did not made anything to upgrade till now.there is no net tv or smart in that tv unit!
I ve choosed you in stead of samsu... or l.. cause i thought your "philips"!wrong!
very !
at the same amount of money i've could have choosed a SMART TV INDEED not that piece of junk!and you call it a "2012 model"what era?
Maybe you'll have de decence to let us know when you'll upgrade the 2012 tv series firmware.I am sure that I am not the only one !!!!!!
Probably the last philips piece of equipment ever to buy again!
Thanks!Radu

47HFL7007D/10 net apps availabilty in UK
I have this hospitality TV 47HFL7007D/10 and can find very little information regarding this TV on the internet.
I have a few questions, do the same apps for consumer smart tv's appear on my TV?
Are all the apps from the same portal?
I want to use the UK based apps but have been unable to so far, in particular BBC iPlayer.
Any help would be really appreciated as there doe not appear to be a manual with this TV either.
Thanks
Darren

@Darren,
Info is available on the Philips support site (only the user manual was missing but will be addressed). If you want me to send you the manual, please let me know via PM.
Not all apps that are available on the consumer models will be available on the hospitality models (like for example VOD services will not be available).
BTW, why/where do you buy such a model?
Regards,
JuAnLast edited by Philips; 03-28-2013 at 02:43 PM.
