"TuneInRadio" BDP7600: texting station name does not work

Philips BDP7600/12 (firmware version 1.35)

This is the problem: Within NetTV I select the application TuneInRadio. I select the "Search" function. When I try entering the name of a station the following occurs:
1) entering selecting the first character of the station with the remote control works
2) as soon as I toggle a key to select a second character of the station I am looking for, the application returns to the main NetTV menu.

Hence it is not possible to enter the name of a radio station.

P.S.: I don't like the design and the "cushion like touch" of the new elliptical remote control. Please give us back the "clicking" buttons.

According to Philips customer service, the reported problem has been identified and acknowledged. It will be resolved as part of an upcoming firmware upgrade.
