How come that universal remotes from philips are not supported on this forum?
Why does "Philips Community Forum" not support universal remotes ?
The forum is called "Philips" , the remote is philips
The forum is called "Community" ,my remote is philips, why do i not belong to the philips community ?
Any way
i have i universal remote from logitech thats working fine, but was limiting me on the max capacity of devices to controll.
I have a probelm there, with davanced configen, that i cant get right or the device dosent support.
So i bought a philips universal remote that can controll more device, in the hope a could config it even easyer and my problem i had with the other remote would b solved.
Instead of being an happy cusyumer. I'm now a custumor, that after 2 month, i still have a controller thats is not confiured like it should, and i'm still using the other remote control becourse the philips one dosent serve my needs.
On the support pages of the remote i cant find my answer of my problem, its mentioned , but not explained haw to config it...
( problem when i have several activities set up , and i switch from watching tv to lisening radio, al my devices that i dont need anymore stays on , switching to watching blu ray, all my previous used devices stays on... )
on my logitech remote, ( seems to be much smarter ) it stores what devices where turned on, on does turn of the devices not used in the next activity...
But that was not the first problem.
The philips remote does not recognise all devices, even its a well known media player and seceral years old ( it even does not recognise the brand )
When adding an know device, not all the buttons are setup or even wrong ones.
When setting up extra buttons ( becourse they are not setup the first time , and recognising those buttons ( of the 10-15 buttons added ) almost half of it did not work until i reprogrammed it again.
If this is not the right forum to ask for help and the support pages are not helping, please point me in the right direction or forward this to the right community, so that a customer that paid for an expensive remote controler, finaly can use its device to where its meant for !
