Connect 32pfl9705k via S/P-DIF to av-receiver

hey everyone!

i connected my tv to the receiver and when i watch tv or .avi everything is fine. the sound is decoded by the receiver (ac3 and pcm signal)

but when i try to whatch .mkv with 5.1 sound there is no signal transmitted!

i expact a wrong menue entry but cant find it by my self!

what codecs are used in the MKV? DTS is not supported...

I know! in the .mkv the dd 5.1 codec is used and i have installed the lates firmware.

is there any possibility to pass through the signal like i can do in my pc-soundcard?

exactly it is the A52 codec aka ac3!

Hm, I use mkv with DD from both my bluray player & PC (HDMI 3 & 1), with sound from SPDIF to my av receiver all the time.
Just open the HDMI input status pagem and ensure that the TV recieves any sound from the source.
(If you have an NVidia card, it will detect automatically that the TV supports DD. If you have an ATI card, you have to enable it yourself, else you will receive no sound from the PC besides stereo).

when i watch nomal tv-shows presented in dd 2.0 there is no problem. but wehn i use the usb port to watch .mkv container with dd 5.1 there is no signal at the av-receiver.

i don't have any other source connected to the tv.
