    BDP5100 problem with DTS-HD

    I have the same problem like in this topic http://www.supportforum.philips.com/...-not-available

    My BDP5100 may not transfer DTS HD soundtrack over HDMI 1.4 to Yamaha resyver 3067.

    HDMI audio is Auto or Bitstream?

    tested on how many discs?

    (I assume you player is updated..)

    HDMI audio is Bitstream.
    Yes, player is updated - firmware 1.57.

    And may be to blame bluray disc? Why? If the disc sound track DTS-HD MA, I think it would have the BDP5100 track and pass this to reseiver.

    As suggested in the last post of the thread you reported, it is a good idea to test different discs... to see if there are different behaviours...
