Comparing iOS MyRemote startup time with Android version
I created a short video to show the startup time of the iOS Philips MyRemote compared to the Android Philips MyRemote app.
- The iOS version on the left side takes round about 48 seconds to show the screen one can choose his TV.
- The Android version takes round about 1 second to show the screen to choose the TV.
Link to the video:
Sorry for the very poor quality! But one should be able to see how long it takes to startup. Maybe I will create a better video, when I find the time.
Both apps were completely ended and unloaded from memory.
The Android version is really good in startup performance, but the iOS version is really bad. If you have to wait a minute until you can use it, you will be faster using the "normal" remote.
Would be great if this can be enhanced!
