Complementary to recent announcements on changes in the Smart TV set up of Philips branded “Home Theater System-,” “Blu-Ray Player-” and “HD Media Player-” models, we would like to inform as follows:
In order to ensure the core functionality, performance and compatibility, we have embedded in the latest automatic software update a new version of Smart TV for multiple product models. With this new version, you can still directly access YouTube, Netflix (if previously available on your product) and a web browser. Most other formerly available applications can be reached via the web browser.
