Two problems: Lip sync and 100Hz with pfl6606 and xtreamer
Hi,
I own 40PFL6606 and xtreamer, many times i encounter problems with lip sync specifically on this TV.
I saw somewhere a recommendation to turn off the natural motion,
Natural motion is off and only clear LCD is on. The thing is, although the xtreamer is set to 24p, i don't see the Clear LCD working at all (the 100Hz feature). only in SD connection i see the 100hz working.
So the two questions are:
1. how can i solve this lip sync issue
2. how can i enjoy the 100hz which doesn't seem to be working with xtreamer at all.
Note that when using another 100hz TV brand, i don't get those problems.
Thanks,
Naor

You are experiencing sound delays from the TV speakers?
Also, 100 Hz is not related to the input signal frequency (i.e. the 24 Hz your player sends).

Both from tv speakers and receiver although from the receiver it's worse. the thing is, it doesn't occur on all videos so i'm not sure which is related. i think there is some delay being added by tv where is some videos it's negligible and in others not.
Regarding 100Hz, in my samsung c650 tv, only when 24p was on i was able to enjoy the 100hz smoother motion. in any case i dont see the 100hz working at all when playing HD content (without turning on the "natural motion", only "clear lcd" is on)
Thanks,
Naor

All TVs add a delay in the sound due to their processing.
Try to drive your AV amplifier through the SPDIF output of your TV, or add a suitable delay to your AV amplifier.
Regarding 100 Hz, you must have DNM enabled to get them. There is no way to increase the frame rate if you don't add interpolation. Else your display also runs at 100 Hz, but replicating the same frames (so you see the 24Hz judder).
ClearLCD is just scanning backlight...
