    Nettle honestly. Taking under consideration num of reported bugs and usability problems, and general development speed of software this is practically at 'Nothing' level.

    I wonder what other users will think about this.

    I'm listed in this forum since December 2010 and I became disenchanted.

    I've already express my opinion regarding how Philips is managing this huge quantity of complaints/bugs/issues.

    What could come as solution is welcome.

    Here you are, solutions:

    1. Create bug reporting system which will be available for users and development team. Allow users to report bug/improvements but also assign one person to manage all tasks (put forum reports into system, manage duplicates etc.).
    2. Allow voting for issue so philips will know what is more important for users
    3. Seriously think again about team working speed and THINK how to improve it
    4. Give user the choice - make SW open source.

    Dear Panel,

    these are good points. But..

    a) for experience there're already post of Toengel that are monitoring the bug status (for the different TV models).

    b) good point too but, in my opinion, Philips is already aware of it (is enough look at the replies or complaints on the same issue in this forum.

    c) ask to Philips for the answer

    d) if you want to develop something with these TV models yu can ask for it to Philips directly. Everyone is welcome.

    a). I am not saying about monitoring post, but about proper dedicated solution witch may be used by users and developers like JIRA. I don't see a point to create two independent systems do you?

    b) The truth is that dedicated system would clean up the mess and. I think each issue should be independent. Just take look at JIRA for FDT:
    independent issues, voting, ability to choose what goes into next version, users feedback, priorities, and project managers actually care about feedback, etc - this is how user feedback should be managed properly

    c) I have written few posts, but honestly I didn't got any valuable response from philips.

    d) Sure I can, and I did. After few posts and reading discussion Honestly as I see now, there is very very small chance for software improvements.
    Do I want new features? Yes I want, but first I want to improve\fix what we already have (go to page 8 if you are interested and see how much response I got from philips about it).

    Private message is good idea and I can do this, but still isn't this topic all about 'experience with FW'? Isn't the goal of this topic to give philips feedback and discuss with philips and moderators about FW?
