Ok now we know that there is a new FM coming...I'm going to make a bold suggestion...why doesn't philips 'kill' off the things that don't work for right now. Let the team focus on basic functionality such as the audio drops and lockups.
Then, when there is still room for improvement, move on. This device is going to stay 5 years in my living room. I want it to function !
Or, allow me to get a refund, since the product isn't working as advertised.

Philips 32PFL6606H/12 (F/W: 14.93) connected to Zyxel Keenetic GIGA (F/W: last beta) - often lost DLNA-connection.

At the same place Philips 32PFL6606H/12 <-HDMI-> Player Egreat R200-II <-LAN-DLNA-> Keenetic GIGA - no problem (one full day test).

I've talked in chat with a customer rep. He told me there is currently no new firmware in development...

Anyone experienced the flickering control panel in vimeo?

    Hi,

    - from time to time the list of braodcast stations is loosing members. First Tele 5, now eurosport, next ?. The number of the station is still in use it seems, but the numer is no longer reachable. Choosing the chanel will result in the error-message "Sender nicht installieret" (i´m german) transaltion should be something like "sender not installed". Activating ""Ausgeblendete Sender anzeigen (show hidden sender)" does not chance anything.

    - Leaving the configutions menu the screen will stay blank because the reciever chanced to the television reciever (what ever this may be), where no sender is available

    - changing chanels needs far too much time

    - the navigation within the smart-functions ist very, very slow, especially after activating the HBBTv-option

    - on wish: having installed nearly 1.000 sender a search function usind the senders name whould be very helpful

All in all: the television has a suberb picture (after switching off most of the automatic features), the software - well - seems to have an enormous potential :-)

Merry chrismas and all the best for 2012 (including a perfect firmware)
    Gnaglow

Such a bullshit - after a SAT-researching the chanel list again lost senders. And no way to get then active again. Getting rid of all the automatic paternalism would be so nice.
Does anyone have an idea how to get the senders active again? I´m not willing to do a research (lasting 30 min) over and over again.....

And a possibility to add a single sender would be a nice feature, too. By the way, the SAT-Receiver in the study (no name, 40 EUR, using same antenna) works perfect. All senders availible.

    mkv aspect ratio

    1. The firmware doesn't correct the "mkv aspect ratio" issue. A video file with display aspect ratio of 2.x:1 is displayed "full screen" (e.g. 16:9 on my 42PFL7456K/02).

    1. I am missing an intelligent "zoom to max" function in the "Smart picture" settings which zooms to the maximal size possible preserving the display aspect ratio, however display & pixel aspect ratios are. It should be easy to process a free display aspect ratio range (e.g. from 1:1 to 2.5:1).

Well, after using this firmware from day 1, i have some remarks:
    - No more frequent shutdowns any more. (yiha!)
    - Sound problems changed, but are not as frequent as before.
Before, sound was garbled when switching hdmi inputs, now the sound sometimes DISAPPEARS completely.
Shutting down the TV resolves it. Annoying.

But .93 is a step in the right direction FINALLY.
Hope the HDMI-sound problems will be fixed in next release.

    regards,
