55PFL6606H/12 subtitle support
1. Any reason why not to support subtitles from DLNA and only from USB?
2. Any language / character encoding other than english supported? (e.g. UTF-8?)
3. If you don't support non-english encodings, will you support rendered subtitles format (e.g. IDX/SUB)?
(P.S. I'm using the latest FW from 12-22-2011 and 55PFL6606 screen)
Thanks,
Eran

Hi
We don't support external subtitles via DLNA, only via USB.
For DLNA the Subtitles must be hard-coded to the Video File.

"For DLNA the Subtitles must be hard-coded to the Video File."
Why? Is this not a normal operation?Last edited by reg48; 01-19-2012 at 09:59 PM.
